The Bucs traveled to FM last night, September 10th, to square off against the Hornets of Fayetteville-Manlius. The first set was back and forth with both teams trading points and firing on offense. At the 17 point mark the Bucs started to edge out the Hornets and were able to maintain offensive pressure to capture the first set 25-20. 

However in set 2, FM came out of the gates hot, getting an early lead. They were able to maintain the pressure and dominate set 2 with a score of 25-14, and tying the match at one set a piece. Set 3 started in a similar way with the Hornets taking an early 9-2 lead, but the Bucs were able to string together a few points and tie the set up at 9-9. Again, the two offenses traded points back and forth until FM finally outlasted the bucs, winning both sets 3 and 4 by a score of 28-26. 

Notable performances for the Buc were turned in by:

Cole Pratt with 17 kills, 1 Block,5 Digs and 2 Aces

Riley Mahoney with 14 Kills, 3 Digs, and 1 assist

Nate Devinny with 1 Block, 3 Digs, 33 Assists and 1 ace
