The OHS varsity volleyball team hosted the Red Rams of Jamesville Dewitt Thursday night at David Powers Gymnasium. Oswego got out to an early lead, taking the first two sets from JD.

The rams battled back in the third set, winning by a score of 25-19. In the fourth set JD came out on top again after going into extra points and winning by a score of 26-24. 

Set 5 started with Nate DeVinny serving for Oswego and getting the Buccaneers to an early 3 point lead. Oswego was able to maintain pressure offensively while playing great defense throughout the fifth set. Oswego finished the match strong with a 15-7 score against the Red Rams. Oswego faces Central Square on the road on September 26th.

Riley Mahoney with 9 kills, 2 aces, 4 digs, and 1 blocks

Garrett Besaw with 7 kills 2 blocks, 1 assist, and 4 digs

Nate DeVinny with 1 kill, 2 blocks, 34 assists, and 1 ace
